What if I take more than the recommended dose of VeraVida daily immune support Multivitamins?

Taking more than the recommended dose of VeraVida Multivitamins is not recommended. In accordance with the DRI, VeraVida Multivitamins do not exceed the UL for vitamins and minerals.

We designed our multivitamins, supplements, and other health products to maintain healthy immunity, in some cases, boost immunity and restore nutrients where needed. But there is nothing that supports the overconsumption of certain vitamins and minerals. In fact, some nutrients can be dangerous in large amounts.

Each vitamin and mineral has a recommended daily amount. Although there are some that are safe at any dose, there are a few that have limitations in isolated situations.

Here are some nutrients that have upper limitations:

  • Iron
  • Manganese
  • Molybdenum
  • Nickel
  • Phosphorus
  • Selenium
  • Vitamin B6
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D
  • Zinc

These nutrients are generally safe in food and beverages and unlikely to cause any harm. But if you are taking supplements and exceeding the amount by either consuming more than recommended supplements or eating fortified foods, it is possible to have a reaction.
